Getting Started with Vehicle to Home
Bidirectional charging is a technology that can allow both the charging of an electric vehicle and the usage of the vehicle’s battery to power external devices. To enable this capability for your EV, purchase of Quasar 2 and additional equipment is required.

2Vehicle-to-home charging in the event of an electrical grid blackout requires purchase of the Wallbox Power Recovery Unit, which is sold separately and currently not available for purchase. V2H charging is projected to provide up to 3 days of power in areas of a home, based on an average 25 kWH daily usage and 99.8 kWh battery with 100% charge at start, when home is properly equipped. Your vehicle must have above 20% state of charge to use the V2H function.
